Sega signs ex-clover boys

Sega are set to release four new games as part of a partnership with Japanese developer Platinum Games, founded by resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and other ex-Clover members.
One game for PS3 and 360, titled Bayonetta, stars a girl lead character with guns strapped to her feet, and is being directed by the Devil May Cry creator, Hideki Kamiya.

The second title shown was a sci-fi action RPG for DS called Infinite Line. You play a captain of a customisable space ship, travelling between two galaxies as you uncover what is promised to be a deep plot.

Think Killer 7 with a sense of humour thrown in. The game has you using Wii Remote motions to stab street signs through enemies' faces (and they stumble around comically), impale them on spiked walls and slice their heads off with bin lids. YEAH!

Sega chose to keep the fourth title under wraps for now, only revealing that it was being directed by none other than Resident Evil creator, Shinji Mikami (so maybe it's a horror game?).

"The creative forces at Platinum Games bring a new level of imagination into the Sega family at a pivotal time in the video game industry when the demand for quality, originality and fun has never been greater," said Tatsuya Minami, President and CEO, PlatinumGames. "These new titles will contribute meaningfully to Sega's brand, while adding a new level of depth to the strategic portfolio of games in our library."
Check out the screenshots for some early screens and concept art, could this be the start of a Sega revival ?
