Prince of Persia screens emerge

The first proper screenshots from the new Prince of Persia game are in and any fans of the series are in for a shock.

As has already been mentioned the game will feature cell shading, however the graphical style of the game has been altered dramatically from previous versions, the cell shading will most likely leave fans divided, its a love it or hate it idea. However, one thing most fans will be pleased about is the series return to a light tone instead of the dark, gothic style the second and third games hosted, something that many fans did not like at all.

Personally i was expecting something more on the lines of Assassins Creed (Ubisoft make both games after all). As a series long fan its hard to see such a dramatic shift in style, however if the game is good then im sure people will be able to overlook the graphical differences.
