Resi 5 screens emerge.

The latest issue of Japan's Famitsu magazine has unveiled some new information about Resident Evil 5, along with some new screenshots and artwork.

"the impact of sunlight in the game continues to play a crucial role, commenting that players will experience multiple instances where they must explore both light and dark locations.

Elsewhere, the magazine also remarks that only three weapons have been confirmed to make an appearance thus far; a combat knife, handgun and sniper rifle. Additionally, it states that the title will feature similar boss encounters to previous instalments, and gives mention to Nosferatu from Resident Evil Code: Veronica as an example.

Scans can be viewed below, featuring Chris Redfield in a number of new locations throughout the village, as well as some intriguing artwork and a new female character (who we can confirm is definitely not Claire Redfield, as previously speculated by Game Informer)".
