Xbox 360 60GB package Will Launch This Friday

Microsoft has confirmed that its revamped Xbox 360 SKU, the premium package, which will come with a new 60GB hard drive will launch on August 15th (this Friday).
The upgraded model replaces the 20GB Pro package as the mid-range Xbox SKU. That's a three times increase in storage, boasts MS, but the price point will remain at £199.99.

The 60GB pack includes a wireless controller, headset and one month subscription to Xbox Live Gold.

"No one device offers the depth and breadth of entertainment that Xbox 360 can deliver and we know consumers need increasingly more and more space to store the amazing digital entertainment content we provide" said regional director Neil Thompson "Now the Xbox 360 has triple the space to house all your entertainment needs at no extra cost."
The upgrade comes in the light of Microsoft's growing video marketplace service and the new feature in the fall update which allows players the optional ability to install games onto their hard drive.
