No Left 4 Dead for PS3 Afterall

We reported earlier that OPM had said that Valve's upcoming Zombie blaster Left 4 Dead would be appearing on the Playstation 3, well it looks like it was just a rumour after all with Valve rubbishing the claim.

IGN contacted Doug Lombardi from Valve who stated:

"there is no PS3 version of Left 4 Dead currently in production."

So that's that cleared up, there is still hope for playstation owners as he didn't say it wouldn't happen at all, however it appears that for now at least Wannabe Zombie hunters will have to get their kicks with the 360 or PC versions.
