First Bond info emerges

The first details from Activisions new Bond title, 007 Quantum of Solace, have arrived in the form of an article from Gamesmaster magazine.

According to the preview, the game contains levels from both Casino Royale and the new film Quantum of Solace. The gameplay is primarily First Person Shooter, however some Third Person elements have been added, apparently to remind the player that they "are Bond".

The game also apparently has a cover system similar to that of GTA4, where the camera perspective switches to Third person, allowing the player to see the protagonist and more of the surrounding area. The mag also states that the Third person element is expanded to action sequences such as climbing ladders, walking along ledges etc. It will also feature "God of war" style quick time sequences that will allow Bond to quickly and Silently take out an enemy.

Whilst the game doesn't sound like it does anything new, it does appear that Treyarch are aiming to deviate from the standard Bond FPS only action, this could be a hit but could just as easily turn out to be just like the Bourne conspiracy.
